EMBRACE EQUITY
- Would you like to actively be a better ally for women in your workplace?
- Are you curious if your actions match your good intentions?
- Would you like to learn about the four key practices for allyship?
If you answered yes to any of these questions or even aren’t sure, then please join Thriving Talent for this complementary webinar to be better equipped to meaningfully become a better ally for women at work.
Why focus on ally skills? In an experiment, researchers found that when women and others from marginalised groups work to increase diversity, supervisors give them worse performance evaluations. Yet when more privileged people work to increase diversity, it does not harm their performance evaluations (and may actually improve them).

WHY YOU SHOULD NOT MISS THIS WEBINAR
This highly interactive online workshop helps people recognise when they have power and influence - when they can best act as an ally - and learn how to take effective action to make their workplace better.
An "ally" is someone willing to take action in support of another person, in order to remove barriers that impede that person from contributing their skills and talents in the workplace or community. Being an ally is a verb, this means that you proactively and purposefully take action.
During this one-hour interactive and practical webinar you will:
- Understand what it means to be an ally
- Explore scenarios to practice the steps towards becoming a better ally
- Have a clear set of actions to move forward
