This workshop is designed to increase awareness of implicit bias, provide insight into how these biases manifest in work and life at large.
In the workshop, practical interventions are explored that move past awareness-raising to personal and team strategic actions to mitigate bias foster inclusive behaviours.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

Understand how unconscious bias manifests and build self-awareness

Connect to the need to advance equality, diversity, and inclusion with the organisation's strategy and values

Apply tools and techniques to assist in mitigating bias and make more equitable and inclusive business decisions

This interactive and dynamic workshop uses a blend of research-based theory, experiential activities, individual reflection, and group discussions. We recommend a learning journey consisting of three steps: pre-course work providing an introduction to concepts and theory and a self-assessment, a deep dive during the workshop, followed by a support structure enabling application back on the job.
